I would not recomend anyone ever go to this car lot. They are the biggiest ripoff. I bought a 92 Chevy 1500 from them two weeks ago and the truck was good. The salesman said that it was a great truck and that they had fixed the problems with it. He even said that he had been driving it around for the past few days. We took it for a drive and then I paid the cash and went on my way. Well about two weeks later the truck started to knock loud in the motor so I talked to a chevy Tech. and he said that the motor was shot. I went back to Petes and talked to a manager. He said,"we sell used vehicles and that is what you bought so you should expect these kind of problems." I am thinking to my self expect these kind of prolems what the heck. He told me that everything that they sell is used and if your are going to buy a used vehicle then you should expect that kind of stuff. So I asked to speak to the owner. The vice-president comes DAN and says that there is nothing they can do because it is a used vehicle. So their point is dont buy used vehicles because you will have problems. So if that is the case dont go to Petes because all they sell is used cars. Plus they wont back up a deal that you had with them. As far as i am concerned this is a crappy car dealership. Go to Pierce, Gabes, City Motor, or any other car lot.
