Things have changed a bit in the last several years as they grow and expand their geographic reach (just feels a little more like a chain than it once did). Menu is still great. Lodge poles are a must order. Beer selection is a bit lacking, generally, and not the most select, which is only notable since it's MT born and bred but doesn't have a ton of the diversity of MT microbrews, even if they rotate some. The pizzas and service are generally excellent, though. Pizzas have interesting flavors/toppings, which is reason enough to go! Expect a wait on the weekends.
Busy place. 30 minute wait for a table on a Sunday evening so not outrageous. Our server was great (reason for 2 stars and not 1). Flat soda (having issues with machine), over an hour wait from time of order to time food was served (waitress kept us supplied with drinks, chips and salsa, and apologies for the wait). Food was so-so, and the pizza that was ordered was almost raw. Would have liked to rate it but couldn't stomach the wait for another one so we got our bill, paid, and left. Manager apologized for all around bad experience but most likely will not return.
Love the option of getting take out or dining. Always lovely service and great food iv never had my order messed up here!
The food is fine but the service bad. The 4-year-old in the group didn't get her meal until the other food had been out for 15+ minutes and they didn't offer the sides that are on the children menu. Nothing was compensated for the bad service. I don't live in Great Falls so I only go here about once a year but the service has been bad the last several times I have stopped.
Had their BBQ Roadhouse special and it was excellent. Good toppings well cooked. Perfect ratio of sauce to dough to toppings. Sauce was good. On the sweeter side so some may not love it as much as I do. The seasonal huckleberry themed drinks and desserts are great.
