This is a pretty little storage facility. However, the staff and management are rude and uncooperative. And, believe me, even if the unit is sparkling clean and in good condition, you won't get your deposit back! The photo is how the unit was left. $20 seems to be a dent in their pocketbook, but you'll certainly pay much more than than for your storage facility. Good luck getting a comment to the owner - when the website says contact us it's only an address and phone number which you can find online. And, there is no room for comment on their site - small wonder!
While moving out of my storage unit, a friend who was helping me move out, hit the red bollard by the gate with the rear tire of a cargo trailer she was pulling and left a black mark on it. Rod came out and verbally assaulted my friend. Myself and another friend of mine came around the corner while he was doing so and she was extremely upset and he then quit berating her. He said he had just painted it 10 minutes prior and would have to paint it again. She offered to repaint it and he refused. I was supposed to get my deposit back and he kept it saying that I did damage to the bollard. I asked for some sort of invoice showing what repairs they had to make for the alleged damage and the owner, Ann, refused to provide it. I wouldn’t recommend this storage facility to anyone because they are crooks!!!
Owner verbally assaulted myself as well as my girlfriend because he believed we were doing something we were not. Did not identify who he was until the end of the dispute. Used foul language in front of a nice young lady. Unacceptable behavior in my opinion.
The actual place is nice and the tenant Rod was nice until I complained about the false advertisement of 24 hour access was actually 20 hour access! No entry is granted from 12am - 4am! They say its because drunks have caused problems during those hours. He said if I had a good enough reason to be there during those hours they might permit it but when I said 1- false advertisement & 2- because sometimes I am packing and moving things late because I am super busy and there isnt enough hours in the day sometimes (packing and moving at my own pace as our house is on the market). He said thats not good enough and that I need to think about if I want to stay as a customer and he will talk to the owner. Absolutely rude. I questioned this when I first got there. I left a really nice place (American Mini Storage) with AWESOME ATTENDANTS to come here because AMS closed at 8! I had a full uhaul and was there to get signed and then in the fine print down in the middle of the contract it tells you about gate. HOWEVER, everythjng on website... including rental agreement on the website has NOTHING listed about the 20 instead of 24 hour access! THATS JUST BAD BUSINESS and RUDE!
