Military buddy needed a quick trim to be in regulation for his training the next day so I called in to see if there was room. They were closing soon so the lady said if we made it there by 5:45, she would give him a haircut. When we got there the stylist was just finishing up another guy's hair but she turned us away because it was too close to closing time. It was 5:28 and they close at 6. She still turned us away even though we were there EARLIER than what she said we had to be. Well, at least she was nice about it. Oh wait, she wasn't... If you can find another place to get your haircut, do it.
I went in yesterday for a very simple eyebrow wax. They just needed to be cleaned up, no fancy shaping. The girl greeted me very quickly and went right to work. Now I've had my eyebrows waxed several times a year since my late teens and I know there can be pain but good god with girl was rough. I did everything I could do not to cry and even the soothing stuff they use at the end didn't help. They turned out pretty even so I paid and left. Once in my car I looked a little at them and I noticed there was still wax on the far corner of my left brow and my eyelids were also red and tender. As the day goes on the redness doesn't go away and it still hurts. A lot. It's now been nearly 24 hours and my brows are bruised and the redness is broken blood vessels. I think I'm going to go somewhere next time.
I've never had any issues until a few months ago. I take my son for routine hair cuts and I've always received a military discount (which I add my discount plus extra for the stylist's tip). I go to pay, I ask for my discount and she says that I have to be the one getting the haircut to receive the discount? Then we get out to the car and that's when I get a really good look at the hack job she did on my son's hair. Now I cut my son's hair and I do a whole lot better job in my own bathroom than paying someone who has no idea what they're doing. If you can't even out hair and trim around ears, you're in the wrong line of work.
The absolute worst haircut I have ever had. Paid way too much for something I could've got at a better place. Stay away!!
I've been going there for about a year now and have never had a bad haircut. They're always friendly and use products if you want it.
