I had gone in for a concern about an unusual experience the same morning and also to ask about some sinus issues I'd been having. I arrived at around 8am when they opened and it was easy to get checked in as a walk-in and wait times were reasonable that early. The nurse was friendly and welcoming, but the doctor wanted nothing more than to shove some antibiotics at me due to a fever I didn't know I had and rush me out the door without listening to my concerns. After the antibiotics produced some unwanted and potentially alarming side effects, I found out in the ER (everything else is closed after 8pm) that there was no sign of infection and the antibiotics were useless! Feeling much better without them, and if the doctor had bothered to listen or do any sort of testing before making assumptions, the whole ordeal could have been prevented. Also good luck getting an appointment if you're a regular. Appointments are booked weeks in advance so you're probably better off with a walk-in visit.
One time, I went in as a walk in for some headaches and stomach pain and I got the stomach pain cured and had scheduled an appointment with another for me for the headaches and I went to see this doctor and she told me she thought I was faking all my symptoms (which I wasnt) and then she gave me mood disorder pills anyways...
which only made me feel worse so I quit taking them and I got over the headaches but now its in my chart I have a history of them... so usually when I go in I ask for dr.Tim Street. I know he's just a pa, but he cured my mom of numonia when she had already been to three other docs and would of died otherwise. Dr. Street is very good for any kind of minor problem you may have and I like his style. I will continue to see the northwest clinic for all my minor problems.
The clinic is really good about walk-in timing, being friendly, and trying to help. However, the service really depends on when you go to the clinic and which doctor you get, because every doctor is a little different and timing is important.
